Racing fans filled the grandstands at Jackson Speedway Saturday night for the Ethanol Field to Fuel night races Aug. 3. Racing action in six classes with a field of 129 racers.
Feature wins went to Megan Lappegard in the Sport Compacts, Malik Sampson in the Hobby Stock feature and Randy Winter in the Sport Mod main event. The Stock Car feature ended in a wild finish with Luke Sathoff backing across the finish to earn the checkers. For the 360 Sprints, Gregg Bakker earned the victory with Josh Meyer winning the IMCA A Modified Feature.
Jackson Speedway will take a week off on Saturday, August 10, but will resume racing action on Saturday, August 17, with the Jackson Speedway Touring Series Last Deck 360 Winged Sprints running a 35 lap feature event for the Wayne Gohr Memorial race.
