ILCC Softball Signs Olivia Anderson

Iowa Lakes Community College Head Softball Coach, Katie King, has announced the signing of Olivia Anderson to the 2025-2026 recruiting class. Anderson is the daughter of Brad and Shawna Anderson. She attends Graettinger-Terril Ruthven-Ayrshire High School in Iowa.

“Liv is going to provide speed and leadership in the outfield for us next year,” said Coach King. “We are also looking for her to bring that speed to the offensive side of the game. We will be losing some sophomores who steal a large number of bases after this season and expect Liv to step in and fill that hole for us.”

As an outfielder, Anderson has lettered three times for the Titans. She is a Twin Lakes Conference Honorable Mention recipient. Last season, Anderson batted .275 with a .370 on-base percentage.

As to why Anderson chose Iowa Lakes, “Growing up just 20 minutes from campus, I’ve experienced the growth and culture of the Iowa Lakes Softball program. Many of my friends, mentors, and teammates have continued to play at Iowa Lakes. I’ve even been lucky enough to be coached by Assistant Coach Larson in the beginning of my high school career, as well as Coach Chase over my last three seasons. Since having a relationship with Kristi and Katie for so long, I feel it is a full circle moment to finally play for them as a Laker. They have not only watched but helped me grow as a player and person. After visiting and experiencing the atmosphere of the team, I loved seeing the chemistry the girls had and knowing they had a family aspect. I look forward to being a Laker and making a mark on this program. Sails up!”

Anderson is also a three-time letter winner in both track and basketball. She is also a National Honor Society member and chair.

“Liv is just a fun person to be around. She has a great personality that makes you smile. Liv works her tail off and comes from a program that demands excellence and discipline. She will be able to come into this program and continue to improve because of those qualities. I am excited to be part of Liv’s journey and think she will do some great things here at Iowa Lakes,” commented Coach King.
