“To start the day off it was a little wet, as the players got into
their round the rain started, then we had about an hour delay due to lightening
and then it just rained the rest of the day. Mentally we have to continue to
stay in the moment and battle through the conditions, everyone is playing in
them. It’s good to see the guys playing well just need to get all 5 playing well
at the same time. Talisa is playing well we just need to get some scores lower
and drop that team score. Overall i think we had a good day 3 players medalled.
I’m proud of this group and can’t wait to see what the spring holds for us.”
said Coach Andy Soper.

The Lakers wrap up their fall season on October
11th when the Men will play the inaugural Beaver Cup against Buena Vista at
Brooks Golf Club. This is a Ryder Cup format that the Men play. The Lakers have
won the past two years.
