The Iowa Lakes Men’s Basketball team moved to 23-8 on the season with a 53-52 W
over Kirkwood to move on to the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference
finals. The Lakers will travel to Boone to play DMACC on Saturday March 8th. Tip
will be at 3 pm.
With .4 seconds left in the game Diamontae McKinley hit
2 free throws to send the Lakers to the victory.
Leading the way for the
Lakers was Latrell Love with 15 points, Deondre Parks added 12 points, and
McKinely finished with 9 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds,
Kirkwood was
led by JC Fuller with 21.
