HUSKIES WIN TRIO OF EVENTS IN LAKE CRYSTAL

Natalia Botello-Ramos and James Atura led the Jackson County Central track and field effort that featured a trio of event wins in Lake Crystal on Tuesday.

Botello-Ramos posted 12.77 for the seventh-best time in JCC girls history during her 100-meter dash win. She also joined Zoey Hall, Zadi Farmer, and Allison Luebben to run 1:52.78 for the victorious 4×200 Relay team.

The JCC girls collected 82 points to finish third place behind event host LCWM-Nicollet with 181 and runner-up Loyola-Cleveland-MCA with 96. River Valley with 80, G-F-W with 70, and GHEC/T/ML with 43 finished behind the JCC girls.

James Atura posted a time of 18.23 to win the boys 110-meter hurdles for the Huskies.

The JCC boys collected 68 team points to take fifth place ahead of GHEC/T/ML with 32 team points. Loyola-Cleveland-MCA topped the boys with 156 ahead of River Valley with 112, LCWM-Nicollet with 99, and G-F-W with 84 finished ahead of JCC.
