The Jackson County Central wrestling team begins their sixth straight Class A State Tournament as the #5 seed next Wednesday night.
The Huskies will wrestle the #4 seed United North Central Warriors in the quarterfinal round of the 2026 Class A Tournament. Five teams get seeded with the other three getting the random draw. Our full Huskies coverage begins at 5:45 that Wednesday with the action scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. inside Grand Casino Arena.

The winner of the JCC quarterfinal will get top-seeded Staples Motley or Kenyon-Wanamingo in the semifinals. Minneota is the #2 seed wrestling LeSueur-Henderson and Chatfield is the #3 seed wrestling West Central/Ashby/Brandon-Evansville on the other side of the bracket.
The semifinals and the first consolation round are scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday night. The Third Place dual and consolation championship are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Class A Championship is expected to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday night.
