The Jackson County Central boys basketball team took down state-ranked Hills-Beaver Creek on the road Monday night.
The Huskies built a 48-32 halftime lead before collecting the 88-77 win over the Class A #5 Patriots.
Weston Rowe and Roman Voss each posted a double-double for JCC. Rowe collected 26 points and 12 rebounds. Voss had 14 points and 10 assists. Blaise Rowe nearly added a third double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. Ben Gallagher and Sullivan Hall each scored 11 points to put all Huskies starters in double figures.
Jacob Kruger collected six points. Mason Foster and Austin O’Reilly each made a three-pointer. Michael Riepke added two points.
The 17-5 Huskies have won nine straight games with Maple River visiting Jackson on Tuesday night. The 9-10 Eagles have lost three straight games. The varsity boys tip-off is expected at 7:30 p.m.
