Jackson County Central boys basketball head coach Alex Hein is the Section 3AA Coach of the Year.
The Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association announced the award this week.
Coach Hein says it’s a huge honor to be recognized by his fellow coaches and the award belongs to the entire program.

It’s the third time Hein has won the award. He led the Huskies to a section title and State Tournament qualification for the third time in his JCC tenure this year.
