Spirit Lake senior football player Drew Alger signed his letter of intent last week to attend Northwestern College next year. He is ready to get to Orange City and be with the football team.
This past season for the Indians he recorded 41.5 tackles, with 1 fumble recovery and 4 interceptions. The coaches at Northwestern will look to keep him in the secondary.
Drew had a lot of success at Spirit Lake and credits the coaches for getting him prepared each season and for the college level.
