Overall, everyone played well today. Both singles guys got a win, and Alex & Luke ended up in 3rd place. Evan and Bennett had a tough first round opponent and were very close to victory, but SBL caught fire late in the second set and didn’t really let up. We didn’t get anyone into the top 2 of the brackets and qualify anyone for the state tournament, but the guys did their best and just got outplayed by extremely talented Sergeant Bluff opponents. We’ll work hard the next couple days in practice and seek to rebound in the opening round of team postseason competition on Saturday.
