The Spirit Lake baseball team improved to 10-2, last night, with a 12-1 win over Sibley-Ocheydan. The Indians scored three runs in both the bottom of the first and bottom of the second. They scored one in the third, and five in the bottom of the fourth.
Reese Salmon got his first start on the mound, this season, for the Indians, as he faced 18 batters, over five innings, and struck out six of them.

The Harris-Lake Park Baseball team got some timely two out hits and turned three double plays, defensively, in a 5-0 win over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn last night.
Jordan Kyle went 2-for-4, for the Wolves with a couple singles and a run scored. Eli Ihnen went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles and 2 RBIs. Brady Van Ipren went 1-for-2 with an RBI single, two walks, and two runs scored.
