(Arnolds Park)– The Okoboji Foundation’s 2022 Youth in Philanthropy program will conclude its year this Wednesday at 6:00 pm with a grant award ceremony at the Majestic Pavilion in Arnolds Park. $53,000 will be awarded to three area nonprofit organizations. All 2022 sponsors are invited to join in on Wednesday’s event.
Ali Schmitz, Okoboji Foundation Executive Assistant and Coordinator of the Youth In Philanthropy program says they were once again proud of the work the students accomplished. She says they reached out to over 180 community members to ask for their support.
The program works to teach area youth the importance of contributing and giving back to the community.
