(Spencer)– A longstanding tradition at the Clay County Fair is coming back this year. General Manager Jeremy Parsons says Y100 Kid’s Day will be held Friday, September 16th…
“Free admission for anybody under the age of 18. And of course the Clay county schools do not have school on that day, so lots of kids on the fairgrounds. Carnival rides, a carnival special, you know the kid’s pedal pull, all sorts of fun activities for kids on that Friday of the fair.”
And with the start of the fair now literally just days away, Parsons says the clock is ticking for getting discount tickets and carnival wristbands…
“You are getting into some crunch time, yes. If you want to save big on those carnival wrist bands and advance gate tickets save 20 percent on adult admission to get into the fair, you need to but those grandstand seats. The good seats are kind of starting to go so if you really want those you need to make that decision today. But yeah. Get to our website. You can also, we talked about you can plan your menu at claycountyfair.com, what food you want to eat. You can plan your schedule minute by minute. Just go there, download the daily guides and you’ll be able to know exactly where you need to be.”
