(Worthington, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision Friday on Highway 60 in Worthington resulted in minor injuries.
The Minnesota State Patrol says vehicles driven by 21-year-old Felix Mendez of Worthington and 67-year-old Roger Nelson of Meriden, Iowa broadsided each other.
Mendez and several passengers in his vehicle, including 23-year-old Frank White and 26-year-old Phothong Syhvong…both of Worthington; 44-year-old Connie Meyer of Round Lake and 25-year-old Sergio Chaparron, hometown unknown, all sustained minor injuries.
No injuries were reported to Nelson and a passenger in his vehicle.
A 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer Mendez was driving was totaled; severe damage was reported to a 2009 Dodge Ram driven by Nelson.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Worthington Police Department.
The collision took place shortly before 3:00 p.m.
