(Arnolds Park)– Phase three of work on the Highway 71 project through the Iowa Great Lakes gets underway today (Mon.).
As we reported previously this part of the project involves work on the western half of the intersection at Broadway Street in Arnolds Park and on the northbound lane from Broadway to Ackley Street. In Okoboji most of the work will be at the intersection with Stakeout Road and from Stakeout Road to just north of Sanborn Avenue.
While access to businesses in those areas will still be maintained, motorists not having to go through those areas for anything specific are urged to take the detour utilizing highways 86 and 9.
The work on the phase of the project is scheduled for completion May 24th.
