Work Is Now Underway On A Major Street Project In Estherville

(Estherville)– Work on the South 1^st Street resurfacing project in Estherville got underway this (Mon.) morning and will continue through October 10^th, weather permitting.

City officials remind motorists South 1^st Street in Estherville is closed to through traffic between 1^st Avenue South and Highway 4 South for the duration of the project. Access to homes and businesses in that area will still be maintained, but motorists who must go into the construction zone are urged to use the shortest route and use extreme caution.
