(Spencer)– A woman wanted on drug charges out of Clay county has turned herself in.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Chelsee Muckey was wanted on active warrants for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance-lisdexamfetamine/dextroamphetamine and two counts of failure to affix a drug tax stamp.
The charges stem from an ongoing investigation by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office that involved multiple controlled purchases of the drugs, commonly known as the prescription medication Vyvanse.
Muckey is being held in the Clay county jail on a $50,000 bond.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Division of Narcotics Enforcement and members of the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.
