(Alton)– A Granville woman was seriously injured Friday when a vehicle she was driving collided with a utility pole. The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says 43-year-old Michelle Vant Hof was driving a 2001 Pontiac eastbound on Highway 10 when she lost control of the vehicle. It traveled into the ditch and struck the pole.
Vant Hof was airlifted from the scene with serious injuries.
$10,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
