(Spencer)– A Greenville woman escaped injury but was issued citations when a vehicle she was driving crashed earlier this week on a road closed for construction.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 70-year-old Janet Rusk was driving a 2020 Ford northbound in the 3800 mile of 240th Avenue when she attempted to adjust her radio and lost control of the vehicle. It went into the west ditch and came to a stop.
Rusk wasn’t hurt but she was issued citations for failure to obey road closed signs and failure to maintain control. The crash took place a little before 3:00 pm this past Sunday.
