(Spirit Lake)– No one was seriously hurt but a significant amount of property damage was reported in a collision around 6:15 pm Wednesday on 15th Street just north of Wal-Mart in Spirit Lake.

Police say 23-year-old Lawton Kramer of Spirit Lake was attempting to make a left turn as 39-year-old Annette Loerch of Mason City was passing, causing the vehicle driven by Kramer to collide with a parked vehicle in a parking lot. That vehicle then struck another parked vehicle. The vehicle driven by Loerch collided with a boat and trailer which then struck a storage shed at 2710 15th Street.

Loerch was cited for failure to provide proof of financial liability, driving with a suspended license, unsafe passing and violation of conditions of a restricted driver’s license.

The total amount of property damage was put at roughly $32,000.
