(Sanborn)– A Sanborn woman escaped injury last week when a vehicle she was driving collided with a large tree branch that had blown down onto the roadway.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 53-year-old Renee Sterler was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe westbound on 340th Street when she collided with the tree limb. The branch penetrated the windshield in front of the driver’s seat. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $15,000.
The incident took place around 7:00 am this past Wednesday.
