(Spencer)– A Curlew woman has been arrested on drug and shoplifting charges in Clay county. Spencer police say they were called this Thursday to Wal Mart after getting a shoplifting complaint. The suspect was identified as 44-year-old Danielle Davis of Curlew. Davis was charged with theft in the 3rd degree and possession of methamphetamine.
The Spencer Police Department’s K-9 was deployed as the investigation continued resulting in an additional 20 grams of meth being found in Davis’ vehicle. She was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver…a class “B” felony; failure to affix a drug tax stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia.
