(Spirit Lake)– A Wisconsin man has been arrested by authorities in Dickinson county on drug charges following an incident at Gull Point State Park.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old William Erickson of Reedsburg, Wisconsin was arrested shortly after 11:00 p.m. Sunday. Authorities say Erickson was found to be in possession of a plant material alleged to be marijuana while in the Gull Point State Park in Wahpeton.
Erickson was booked into the Dickinson county jail on a $1,000 bond.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Lakes Patrol.
