Winter Weather Advisory In Effect For Iowa Great Lakes Until Noon

The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY which will be in effect until noon today (Tues. 12/18) for Lyon, Osceola and Dickinson counties in Iowa and Rock, Nobles and Jackson counties in Minnesota. A band of moderate to occasionally heavy snowfall has established itself along the Iowa/Minnesota border. 2 to 4 inches of snow can be expected by the time it tapers off by late morning or around noon. Amounts will be much less just south of the Iowa Great Lakes.
