(Arnolds Park)– Voting for Winter Games Cheerleaders got underway today (Mon.) and continues tomorrow (Tues.). Morgan Strauss of the Iowa Great Lakes Chamber of Commerce says you can vote in person or online…
“You can head over to uofowintergames.com and under our information tab you go down to cheerleaders and all the nominees are listed there with a brief little bio of why they would make a good candidate, and then also that voting button. Make sure you do that. It is such an honor to be a University of Okoboji Winter Games cheerleader and it just makes the whole weekend so much more fun. I will also add if you want to vote in person, you can vote here at our office today, 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. So you’ll just fill out a little form and we’ll be here to greet you and you can also check out our Winter Games apparel as well.”
In person voting will also be held tomorrow (Tues.) from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm at the Chamber office.
The top eight vote getters of the 27 people nominated will be awarded the honor of serving as cheerleader for this year’s Winter Games.
Strauss also reminds everyone to get registered for the various events. She many are filling up rapidly.
