West Central Minnesota Drowning Victim Identified As Southern Minnesota Man

(Hutchinson, Mn.)– The body of a southern Minnesota man who drowned while trying to swim across a lake in west-central Minnesota has been recovered.

A search for 69-year-old Keith Allan Wilken of Fairmont began after relatives reported him missing Wednesday morning. A family member told authorities Wilkin was attempting to swim across Hook Lake near Hutchinson when he disappeared.

Officers from multiple agencies assisted in the search. Wilken’s body was found around 7:30 p.m.
