The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office is investigating vandalism at The Grotto in West Bend. Officers received a call on Wednesday regarding vandalism to a statue. Upon investigation, it was determined that someone had attempted to remove the statue from The Grotto. Deputies also identified rocks around the area that had been broken off of the walls. The damage is estimated at about $1,000. Anyone with information regarding the investigation is asked to contact the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office at 712-852-3535.
