(Prescott, Az.)– A native of the Iowa Great Lakes and a former community leader has passed away.
Ben Saunders died this past Friday in Prescott, Arizona. He was 76.
Saunders was a former Mayor of Arnolds Park and served as Chief of Police and City Administrator in Okoboji. He retired in 1996. He and his wife Kathy moved to Arizona soon after that.
Ben was an avid outdoorsman and was extremely active in the community and his church.
A celebration of life for Ben will be held December 29th at the First Church of the Nazarene in Prescott, Arizona.
