(Spirit Lake)– A weekend traffic stop in Spirit Lake landed a Milford man in jail on a drug charge.
The Spirit Lake Police Department says an officer conducted the stop around 7:45 p.m. Saturday on 15th Street for a traffic violation. Upon investigating, the officer discovered the driver, Kenneth Collins, Junior of Milford, had been allegedly operating the vehicle with a suspended license. A subsequent search also turned up what’s alleged to be drug paraphernalia.
Collins was arrested and booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of driving while suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia.
