(Undated)– Some challenging conditions still exist across the region this (Thurs.) morning, however things are starting to improve. Latest information from 511.org no longer shows any major highways in northwest being impassable or closed. That obviously is different for some county and secondary roads, especially gravel roads. In southwest Minnesota, a number of major highways including stretches of Highways 59 and 60 and Interstate 90 remain closed as of this morning. Crews are out and about, but it’s still going to take some time to get things back into shape once again.
Both weather and road conditions should continue to improve as we head throughout the day.
