(Jackson, Mn.)– The Jackson County Board of Commissioners this week secured a grant of up to $80,000 to build a water quality pond north of Little Spirit Lake.
The grant agreement is with the Dickinson County Water Quality Commission. The pond will be constructed along 710th Street in Minneota Township alongside a road reconstruction project funded partially by the Minnesota State Park Road Account. Jackson County Engineer Tim Stahl is discussing potential county maintenance of the road once it’s paved.
