Warrant Check Of Spencer Residence Results In Drug Charges Against Four People

(Spencer)– An arrest warrant check of a residence in Spencer last week sent three men and one woman to jail on drug charges.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies conducting the check Wednesday at an apartment at 928 South Grand Avenue noticed what was described as suspicious activity going on there. A subsequent search turned up what’s alleged to be a small quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

36-year-old Michael Molacek, the renter of the apartment, along with 19-year-old Brandy Heeren of Spencer, 19-year-old Cash Krekow of Spencer and 45-year-old Thomas Adams, Junior of Estherville were arrested and booked into the Clay county jail.

Molacek and Heeren were charged with possession of a controlled substance-marijuana…a serious misdemeanor…and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor. Krekow and Adams were charged with possession of a controlled substance-marijuana…a serious misdemeanor.

All four were being held on a $1,000 cash or surety bond.
