(Milford)– A search of a vehicle this past Sunday on Highway 71 south of Milford landed one man in jail and two juveniles were taken into custody on drug charges.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says the search stemmed from a traffic stop shortly after 6:00 p.m. that evening.
18-year-old Michael Porreca of Sioux Rapids was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; and distribution to a person under 18…a class “D” felony. He was booked into the Dickinson county jail and was later released on $5,000 bond.
The two juveniles who’s names weren’t released were charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana. They were transported to the Youth Emergency Services Center in Cherokee.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Department of Human Services and the Iowa Department of Probation Services.
