Vehicle Collides With Light Pole; Possible Injuries Reported

(Sibley)– Possible injuries were reported to a Sibley man Saturday when a vehicle he was driving collided with a light pole in Sibley.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 44-year-old Kenneth Huls was driving a 1996 Ford van southbound on Second Avenue near Sixth Street when it abruptly started pulling to the right and collided with the pole.

Huls sustained possible injuries but declined immediate treatment on the scene.

The vehicle he was driving sustained an estimated five thousand dollars in damage; three thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the light pole owned by the city of Sibley.

The collision took place around 2:00 a.m.
