(Arnolds Park)– The 2026 Vacation Okoboji Guide is hot off the press and is now available. A reveal party was held for this year’s publication Monday evening at West O Beer. Kiley Zankowski of Vacation Okoboji tells KUOO news this year’s guide is once again packed with information and features…
“We had another record number of advertisers this year. We’ve got 120 plus local businesses that we’re featuring within this guide, so really excited to be working with returning businesses and some new ones as well. We really focus every single year on things that we can enhance and change, so you’ll see all new maps in our guide, interactive itineraries, of course stories featuring updates and changes in the Iowa Great Lakes, and then we added some different tabs where you’ll be able to find things a lot easier in our guide, as well.”
Zankowski adds they’ve increased the number of guides available for distribution this year…
“Last year we ran out of guides in November. We lasted as long as we possibly could and recognized that we needed to order some more guides to get through this year. So we increased our print publication to 70,000 guides this year. Really excited about that, so we can reach even more people. We send these guides all across the Midwest and all across the nation. We’ve already sent 134 boxes to different welcome centers and visitor centers across the Midwest, and we’ll start mailing these out to the doorsteps of the people that have requested guides and have interest in vacationing in the Iowa Great Lakes. It’s really cool to see that, you know, over 70,000 people are enjoying this guide. It’s really a one stop shop. It’s here to help people know where to go, things to do, information not just on summer visitation, but year-round. We’ve already got the full calendar of events for next year for those signature community events and so much information within this guide.”
Zankowski adds a digital version of the guide will also soon be available through the Vacation Okoboji-dot-com website…
“That’s always a big hit. I know we had over 400,000 views on that digital guide last year. It’s clickable so it will take you right to the businesses and help answer any questions you may have, and you can carry it right in your pocket wherever you may go.”
Free copies of the printed guide are available at various businesses around the Iowa Great Lakes. You can also request one be mailed to you by clicking a button on their website.
