(Undated)– Some changes are coming to board of trustees at Iowa Lakes Community College.
Two incumbents seeking re-election to the board, including the board’s President, were defeated in Tuesday’s election.
According to unofficial results, Mike Prior defeated long-time incumbent and the board’s current President, Jack Tatman, 116 votes to 77 for the district three post.
Lynn Kueck, an incumbent seeking re-election for the district seven seat, was also defeated. Unofficial results have Bob Jennings of Algona the winner in that district, receiving 332 votes to Kueck’s 251.
School board elections Tuesday in Dickinson county were uncontested.
