(Undated)– Unofficial election results are coming in from Tuesday’s election.
Locally, there was just one contested race on the ballot in Dickinson county where five people were running for four seats on the Lakes Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees. Elected were Kathryn Fahy with 4,028; Randy Heikens with 3,994; Jed Jensen with 3,887 and Debra Leners with 3,829. Another candidate, Steven Feld, received 3,558 votes.
For Emmet County Treasurer, incumbent Lisa Rosburg defeated challenger Kati Rivera. Rosburg received 2,192 votes while Rivera had 1,157.
In Clay County, Travis Johnson was elected County Attorney, defeating Ashley Herrig.
For Iowa House District 10, Incumbent John Wills easily defeated independent challenger Dan Wahl. Wills told KUOO news what he was hearing from voters in the days leading up to Tuesday’s election…
Wills says property taxes will likely be a top priority when the Iowa Legislature reconvenes in January…
Wills also thanked those who supported him in Tuesday’s election.
In Iowa House District 6, incumbent Megan Jones won her re-election bid against challenger James Eliason.
