The University of Okoboji Homecoming Weekend features 5 &10K runs, the Half Marathon and the Triathlon.
Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber CEO Blain Andera says, there’s still time to register. “July 15th we’ve got the Half Marathon, The 5K, The 10K, The Triathlon and The Team Triathlon. I wanted to let folks know there is still time to get registered. So, if you’re interested in doing any one of those, you know, from the Half Marathon, or if you just want to come out and trot around on the 5K, you’re welcome to do that. Also, let folks know that there’s going to be a lot of extra people in the area this weekend because of The Homecoming Races, so please watch out for the runners and the bikers.”
Thousands of athletes from about 20 states are expected to compete on Saturday.
