(Spencer)– An investigation into an anonymous report of an under drinking party in Clay county late in the evening of March 31st resulted in citations against five adults and one juvenile.
Upon investigating, Clay county deputies arrested 20-year-old Sara Bootsma of Sheldon and 20-year-old Justin Titus of Ruthven for interference with official acts.
Bootsma was additionally charged with underage alcohol possession; Titus was additionally charged with supplying alcohol to minors and underage alcohol possession. The two were booked into the Clay county jail pending an appearance before a magistrate.
As part of its ongoing investigation, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office on April 1st arrested 49-year-old William Bennett of Greenville on a charge of supplying alcohol to minors. He was released after posting a $1,000 cash or surety bond.
