(Spencer)– A report of an underage drinking party last week at a Clay county residence resulted in several arrests and citations.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to 2915 330th Avenue around 2:00 a.m. September 17th. Deputies contacted the owner and entered the residence through a window. 13 underage subjects were in the residence, along with open beverage containers.
A 16-year-old male juvenile from Spencer, a 17-year-old juvenile male from Ruthven and a 15-year-old juvenile from Everly were cited for possession of alcohol under the legal age and placed into the custody of their parents.
19-year-old Kyle Strohman of Spencer, 18-year-old Lauren Ahrens of Estherville, 18-year-old Margaret Cihlar of Milford, 18-year-old Ashley Hass of Milford and 18-year-old Chelsea Naab of Terril were cited for possession of alcohol under the legal age.
Authorities say a search of the residence turned up a marijuana pipe, eight packages of K2 synthetic cannibus and three containers of marijuana.
Authorities say the case remains under investigation.
