(Hospers)– An investigation by the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office into an anonymous tip of an underage alcohol party near Hospers Saturday resulted in several arrests.
Deputies say they responded to the scene after getting the report shortly after 9:30 p.m. about a half mile north of Hospers.
19-year-old Jonathon Ehlers of Luverne, Minnesota, 20-year-old Dillon Postma of Sheldon, 20-year-old Ethan Evink of Hospers and 19-year-old Jaclyn Dehner of Hinton were all cited for possession of alcohol under the legal age…a simple misdemeanor.
19-year-old Brennan Jungers of Hospers was arrested and charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age and supplying alcohol to persons underage, a serious misdemeanor.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
