UCB Launches Food Drive

November 19, 2025

(Undated)– There are many businesses in the Iowa Great Lakes Area and beyond that have launched food drives. United Community Bank is among them. Customer Service and Marketing representative Kaylin Mayer…

“Our food drive is happening now through December 15th. People can drop food off at any of our UCB locations which is Milford, Okoboji, Hartley, Lake Park and Ocheydan. Our goal is just basically to exceed last year’s donation contributions and we usually see the bulk of them on our open house date which is December 12th this year.”

Mayer says it’s a good way to pay it forward…

“We just feel that it is one of the most beneficial donations that help impact our communities greatly and we really enjoy doing it.”

Customers and community members are invited to drop off non-perishable food items at any United Community Bank location during regular business hours. All the donations will be distributed to a local food pantry organization in that location’s area.
