(Spencer)– One person was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision Saturday on Highway 71 south of Spencer.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 58-year-old Nancy Duitscher of Rolfe was driving a 2022 Buick Envision northbound on Highway 71 and was attempting to turn west onto 400th Street. Authorities say she turned into the path of a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country driven by 59-year-old Tiegang Li of Spencer who was southbound.
Duitscher was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital.
Considerable damage was reported to both vehicles.
Duitscher was cited for failure to yield.
