(Hospers)– A two-vehicle collision Thursday near Hospers injured a Sheldon woman.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Ofelia Chilel of Sheldon was driving a 2014 Toyota Camry northbound and 33-year-old Adam Nibbelink of Hospers was driving a 2010 Ford pickup, also northbound. Authorities say Chilel was attempting to make a U-turn and the two collided.
Chilel sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Sheldon hospital.
She was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license and stopping on the roadway.
