Two NW Iowa Communities Awarded EPA Grants For Water Projects

(Undated)– Twenty-six-million dollars is coming to six rural Iowa communities to help with clean drinking water and waste water sanitation systems. Theresa Greenfield is with the USDA which is administering the grants…

“These will allow them to expand their capacity. Some of them will be fundamental like replacing asbestos pipes. Linn Grove has a do not drink order because of their high manganese levels.”

A project in Alta has also been awarded funding through the program.
