“The Police Department would like to welcome Easton Voight and Edward Leusinger. They are two new police officers that have been hired by the city. They will begin their process with the Police Department December 11th and then they will go to the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy January 3rd. Putting in perspective, we’re looking at next late August or early September of next year before they’re out on patrol by themselves, so.”

Warburton made the announcement during Monday’s City Council meeting.
