(Spencer)– Two grandstand acts have been announced for this year’s Clay County Fair powered by SMU.
Rock and country group “The Mavericks” will perform at 7:30 pm Monday, September 9th. Opening for “The Mavericks” will be “The Jorgensens”, a band from the Twin Cities incorporating blues, soul, jazz and rock.
It was also announced today (Tues.) Blues Traveler will perform in front of the grandstand at 7:30 pm Friday, September 13th. The group has released 14 studio albums, four of which have gone gold, three platinum, and one six-time platinum, selling more than 10 million combined units worldwide. Blues Traveler is also a Grammy award winner for Best Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
Tickets for both shows will go on sale this Friday.
