Two Area School Districts Looking Into Possible Sharing Of Superintendent

November 22, 2014

(Ruthven)—Two area school districts are talking about the possibility of sharing a Superintendent.

Barry Fischer, President of the Ruthven-Ayrshire school board, says they’ve received an inquiry from the Graettinger-Terril district about the possibility. Fischer says the Ruthven-Ayrshire school board discussed the matter at a meeting earlier this week and decided to look into it further. He says Ruthven-Ayrshire Superintendent Andrew Woiwood will meet with the Graettinger-Terril school board in the near future regarding the matter.

As we reported previously, Jesse Ulrich, current Superintendent of the Graettinger-Terril district, has resigned effective at the end of the current school year to become Superintendent of the Avoca, Hancock, Shelby and Tennant School Districts.
