(Terril)—Two area school districts have agreed to terms of a partial-day sharing arrangement.
The proposal between the Graettinger-Terril and Ruthven-Ayrshire school districts follows months of talks.
Ruthven Ayrshire had also been entertaining offers from Emmetsburg, but at a special meeting Friday voted 5-2 to go with the latest proposal from Graettinger-Terril.
The agreement will be in effect two years, with an option for a third. Terms call for Ruthven-Ayrshire to pay 50 percent tuition to Graettinger-Terril. Ruthven-Ayrshire students would attend Graettinger-Terril four periods out of the day.
Course offerings, schedules and other details will be finalized prior to the two districts signing off on the agreement.
