(Estherville)– Trial for one of two suspects charged in the 2021 death of an Estherville man is being delayed. Trial for 19-year-old Connor Uhde was originally set for later this month but online court records show it has now been re-scheduled to begin October 18th.
Uhde, along with 18-year-old Cejay Van Der Wilt, were charged with 1st degree murder in the death of 20-year-old David McDowell. McDowell’s body was later found along a road in rural Emmet county.
Trial for Van Der Wilt is scheduled to begin September 20th in Emmet County District Court.
